Language classes

The North Bay & District Multicultural Centre has close relationships with language class providers in North Bay.

We will get you registered for the appropriate class, with most referrals going to the English as a Second Language program operated at Chippewa Secondary School by the Near North District School Board.

Canadore College and the North Bay Literacy Council also offer programs which may be appropriate for you.

Would you like to be able to practise your English more?

The North Bay & District Multicultural Centre can help. We offer free English conversation circles, where participants get the opportunity to speak English in a casual, supportive setting.

For the month of November, 2008 we have conversation circles at our offices, 374 Fraser Street, downtown North Bay between Main and McIntyre at the following times:

November 5, 12, and 19 from 6-7:30 pm.

It costs nothing. Come out and meet new people and practice your English.
