Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament

NBDMC board member Dennis Mong was a flurry of activity as he auctioned items after dinner at the inaugural charity golf tournament. When Dennis is the auctioneer you had better bring your wallet, or he won't let you leave.

Many volunteers assisted with the organization of NBDMC's first charity golf tournament. Before things got busy at the registration desk at Osprey Links they had a moment to pose for a group photo.

The North Bay & District Multicultural Centre held its first charity golf tournament June 27 at Osprey Links in Callander. Fifty-three golfers participated and then enjoyed a sumptuous multicultural buffet at Partners on Main. RBC generously donated $1,000 to NBDMC for the event and also sponsored a $500,000 hole-in-one contest. Naveen Ahuja, centre, of RBC was at the golf course to witness the hole-in-one competition and at the dinner later he poses with two members of the NBDMC Board of Directors, Dennis Mong, left and Ainul Ahmed.
