International Students

Schools interested in having international students from Nipissing University visit a class to talk about their culture and home country can contact us.

Oweeny De Silva of our office, working directly with the students at Nipissing University, established this program in late 2007. Teachers who have invited one or more students to speak to their classes have been delighted with the results.

We hope to be able to continue this service to schools. If you are a teacher and would like to schedule a visit, contact Don Curry. If you are an international student who would like to volunteer to speak to students, give him a call at 495-8931 or contact him by email at doncurry@nbdmc.ca.
