The Northeastern Ontario Multicultural Centre is situated on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg peoples, on lands that are protected by the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850. NBDMC acknowledges and gives thanks to the land on which we live and work, and to the people who have cared for it since time immemorial.
Welcome!
We support the full, valued and equitable participation of newcomers in all aspects of community life.
We offer settlement services to immigrants in the districts of Parry Sound, Nipissing, Timiskaming and Cochrane, stretching from Parry Sound in the south to James Bay in the north, Mattawa in the east and Verner in the west.
We house the North Bay Local Immigration Partnership and the Timmins Local Immigration Partnership

Local Immigration Partnerships (LIPs) are community-wide, multi-sectoral partnerships working to strengthen a community’s capacity to welcome newcomers and improve integration outcomes through enhanced economic, social, political and civic participation.
There are 77 LIP initiatives across Canada, they are funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
