2019 Evening of Applause -International Day of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination
The Annual Evening of Applause event is held in conjunction with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21). This local event is a partnership between the North Bay LIP, North Bay & District Multicultural Centre, all four school boards, Canadore College and Nipissing University. Each year a new inductee to the Human Rights Hall of Fame is named and local students are celebrated during this evening of awards, recognition & performance. 2019 marked 32 years of this annual event.
